Whether you want to wash away 2015, ridding yourself of the negative energy this year might have brought. . .
Or if you are still celebrating 2015, yet looking forward to the new opportunities + adventures looming in the new year. . .

All I can say is  C H E E R S  to new beginnings!

Yes, many say that celebrating the start of a new year as a ‘new beginning’ isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
That resolutions are fake or uneeded. That we continue the same cyclical behaviors as the prior year. . .

Well, to that I say:
I believe a new year is what you make it to be!

So, if you set resolutions or goals for yourself & don’t stick to them, then yes–those aren’t concrete or firm changes in your life. But, if you set them without the intention to complete or reach them, were they ever a serious intention in the first place?

This year, I challenge you (because I’m challenging myself) to make 2016 the year of  INTENTION.

If & when you set goals–put intentional actions in place to accomplish them.
And if you want to be more intentional elsewhere, there are many ways to do so.

Be intentional in where you shop (by knowing how + where their products are manufactured), what you put into your body (if you can’t pronounce it, you might not want to consume it), how much love/emphasis you put on material things (maybe this year is the year you clear out clutter) or maybe be intentional with the products you use (are they really safe to be using?).

Maybe you want to unplug more or spend more one-on-one time with loved ones.
Maybe you want to be better with your money so that you can empower yourself to make more intentional choices.
Maybe you want to make more intentional moves for your business or finally turn your passion into a career.

All of these are adding intention into your life.

Refine what’s important & what’s not.
Eliminate all that is no longer serving you.
Invest in the people, places & things that are.

2015 was the year of growth for me.

This year I–
Started this digital journal you’re reading now
Continued on my path with creative media marketing–leading me to incorporate ElanaLoo Consulting
Consulted nearly 20 passionate entrepreneurs on their businesses
Experienced the ocean all around the world (Cabo, East Coast, West Coast, Hawaii)
Made it through 20 plane rides (fear of flying is a real, real thing)
Visited 15 different places
Celebrated half a decade with my sweet, handsome man
Helped my best friends celebrate their marriage! #tuitupoustakecabo
Spent time with so many of my loved ones, near and + far
+ MOVED TO HAWAII

I want to intentionally make 2016 as moving, shaking & amazing as the preceding (or more so).
What exactly do I mean by that? Well, I don’t think I know what that will entail quite yet.
I just know that I want to more deeply root myself into the lifestyle I am choosing, into the relationships in my life
and into my everyday (for the everyday makes up our lives). That’s why, I’m deeming this the year of intention.

In my heart, I know that 2016 is a powerful, special year.

Happy New Year! Cheers to YOU! To your accomplishments, dreams, goals and all that’s in store for you this year! Make 2016 great.

XOXO
