Women’s Wellness | Natural Products I Love

Here are some natural products I’ve been using lately + loving. . .

Sweet Spot Grapefruit Verbena Cleansing Wipes + Wash

I am typically a Dr. Bronner’s gal all the way! But sometimes, it’s nice to have a gentle wash and some wipes for the most sensitive skin on our bodies. I have been loving this duo from Sweet Spot and the grapefruit verbena smell is really refreshing. These gentle products are awesome!

Organic Cotton Tampons by Cora Women

If you read my post about living more intentionally or about making the switch to organic makeup you know that I try my best to be very aware of what’s in the products we are using! I recommend taking a close look at the ingredients in the products that you’re using on your body every single day – it can be eye-opening and kind of scary!  After analyzing so much in our home, in my medicine cabinet + in my beauty drawer, I got to thinking about my feminine health.

I sought out an organic cotton tampon company + have loved my experience with Cora.
First of all they deliver a three month’s supply to your home! YAY for no more runs to the drug store.
They also allow you to customize your order to your cycle and it’s super convenient.

Progessence Plus by Young Living Essential Oils

Progessence Plus Serum is an all natural progesterone balancing oil made with essential oils and wild yam extract that supports overall women’s wellness. Some of the benefits of wild yam (progesterone) include harmonizing the women’s natural cycles and supporting wellbeing.

I think it smells amazing. It contains seven different essential oils including Frankincense (one of my favorites!), Peppermint, Cedarwood, Bergamot, Rosewood, Copaiba and Clove which all have natural harmonizing properties.

Progesterone is a hormone found naturally in our bodies that is generally associated with women’s health. It plays an important role in influencing our menstrual cycles, pregnancy + menopause. Aaron’s mom was the first person to ever teach me about progesterone and the roles it plays in our health. She and her daughters would apply progesterone cream to help with hormone balance. Now, all these years later, they’ve switched over to Progressence Plus!

This is one of my favorite oils for women. As we get older, our endocrine system needs more support (especially with the stress of today’s world). Our genetic makeup, environmental influences and other factors can negatively impact progesterone levels, which may lead to other imbalances in the body. This little oil is part of my daily self-care routine that brings balance, harmony and supports wellbeing.

*Apply 2-4 drops daily onto the back of your neck or forearm and gently massage in.

• If pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition, consult a health practitioner prior to use.
• Do not use in conjunction with contraceptives.
• Keep in a cool, dark place.

Natural Coffee Scrub by Frank Body

Let’s talk about EXFOLIATION! Yaaasss. The best! Getting that dead skin off your body + allowing your skin to breath is huge for clear skin! I have always loved a great exfoliating scrub + Frank Body is one of those brands I’ll always associate with a coffee scrubs. Also, I’ve been liking their body balm after the scrub – it’s a bit oily, so for those with oily skin I wouldn’t recommend it!

I will use this scrub gently on my face, all over my chest and neck, and down on my arms. I don’t know if it’s because I sweat more down here in the tropics or what –– but my arms sometimes breakout so this is something I do to get the dead skin off. It’s also awesome on your legs before you shave! I typically use this about once a week.

These are some natural products I’ve been loving lately! I keep my plethora products to a minimum + only try new things once I’ve had someone recommend it and I’ve run out of something. By doing so, it keeps clutter in our bathroom down + cuts down on our waste!

What are your favorite natural products? I would love to check them out!
